“Focus” for Men
GYM INT 1
GYM PERFUME GUY arrives at the gym,
He sees the display of Gym Perfume at the front desk. He smells himself, and puts a spritz of Gym Perfume on.
The next scene GP GUY is working his triceps at a machine while
the camera is at a close angle. All the adjacent machines
are taken by gym goer's and the gym seems to look packed.
SAM
Hey, you almost done with that machine
GYM PERFUME GUY
Just one more set.
(A couple seconds later.)
MALE GYM GOER
Hey buddy, you almost finished?
GYM PERFUME GUY
Oh, umm, I think someone is already waiting …
GP GUY turns to see the the same machine open 4 feet away. Then
noticed the first gym goer.
GYM GOER 2
I prefer that machine.
As GP GUY notices, the camera pans out to see that the gym is
essentially empty except the area he was working out in.
EXTRAS FILL UP THE IMMEDIATE AREA

SAM is walking through the gym and walks by a gym goer working the chest press in the gym.
He's suddenly transported to a beautiful pool area, beautiful perfect sunny day. A family with kids plays in the pool.
The gym goer woman is there but now she looks like she is mimicking the chest press, while seated in a pool chair at the pool.

Ending back in the gym
SAM
Wow....
He looks over to the Gym Perfume Girl, back to work out on the chest press machine.
SAM
..you smell really good.
GYM PERFUME GIRL
Thanks, “Inspire” Gym Perfume. It takes you
somewhere doesn't it? (Beat)
Sam takes a step forward to the pool world. A kid throws a ball at Sam.
Sam is then back at the gym, holding the ball.
SAM
Yeah. It sure does.
Sam starts to walk away with the ball in hand, and hears
a loud grunt that causes Sam to look over. See's the woman awkwardly working on nothing completely out of place

Outside of the Spin Room 2 gym goers are talking
about the challenging spin class.
FEMALE GYM GOER
I love this class. It’s really tough, but the instructor is great. I always feel inspired to take on the world after these sessions
MALE GYM GOER
YES, I’m so focused on my work outs lately and this class
really lets me let loose and give it my all.
People are walking into the class about to start.
EXTRAS WALKING INTO SPIN CLASS
A third gym goer (GYM PERFUME GUY) walks up but looks a little apprehensive.
FEMALE GYM GOER
Are you going to take the spin class?
GYM PERFUME GUY
I don’t know … I’ve never taken a spin class before. They look tough.
SPINNING FEMALE walks by, passed GP GUY and turns and motions him (seductively) to come in.
GP GUY is still unsure and nervous.
SAM the spin instructor walks by and as he does he sprays some
“Courage” on to the new gym goer.
MALE GYM GOER
(To GP GUY) Class is about to start … you coming?
Both gym goers walk in.
GP GUY takes a big breath, now feeling confident, walks in.

GP GUY appears sweaty and exhausted, about ready to collapse.
MALE GYM GOER
(To GP GUY) So how was your first spin class?
FEMALE GYM GOER
(To Sam) It was great! Sam, you’re a beast on the bike.
GYM PERFUME GUY collapses on the floor. The others don’t look surprised.
SPINNING FEMALE
(steps right over GPGUY and turns back and looks at the floor and smiles)
You smell really good though.
SAM INSTRUCTOR
